Larry had 51 years of experience as a basketball coach.  Holley retired at the conclusion of the 2018-2019 season after 40 years as the head mens’ basketball coach at William Jewell College in Missouri, where he played and has the basketball court named after him in his honor.  Holley also coached at Harrisburg High School, Central Methodist University and Northwestern State University, compiling a grand total of 918 career victories.  Larry’s teams won 11 conference titles,  advanced to 14 national tournaments and played in four NAIA Final Fours.  Holley was selected as the Coach of the Year fifteen times in his career, including the NABC/NAIA National Coach of the Year in 1996.  For his accomplishments to the sport, Holley was elected to five different Hall of Fames and one Hall of Champions.
