Bracco spent 34 years as an accomplished high school and college basketball official.  Dennis worked at the high school level from 1977 until 1990, when new college regulations prevented him from working high school games.  Bracco would officiate at the Division 1 level for the next 28 years, including in Conference USA, the Mid-Continent, Horizon, Sun Belt, Ohio Valley, Big Ten conferences.  Bracco worked his first NIT game in 1999, his first NCAA Division 1 Tournament game in 2000, and officiated both the NCAA Division 2 and Division 3 Tournaments three times each.  Dennis is a member of the Hall of Fame in both the Illinois Basketball Museum and the Athletic Officials Association.
