  • Michigan became the first team to score 90 or more points in five tournament games, and won their first title since 1989.

  • The Hoop Historians had 32 members attend various group-sponsored functions throughout the weekend.

  • The Hoop Historians Headquarters was located at the Hampton Inn Downtown, four blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium.

  • Dennis Mishko and Guy Baldwin were both recognized for attending their 50th Final Four.

  • Zachary Bales, George Bianchi and William Geddes were elected to the group as full members.  Burel Ford was chosen as an Honorary Member.

  • The weekend saw the finals of the Division 2, Division 3 and NIT all played in Gainbridge Fieldhouse.  The NIT semifinals were at nearby Hinkle Fieldhouse.

  • Larry Baker won the sixth annual Hoop Historians Hoop Hysteria Contest.
