The Hoop Historians were highlighted in an article in the Daily Herald Newspaper on the day of the National Semi-Finals
Bill Carsley and Fred Allman were recognized for their inductions into their respective Hall of Fames earlier in the year. Carsley was inducted into the DePaul University Athletic Hall of Fame and Allman was inducted into the Illinois High School Basketball Hall of Fame
