Dinner drew 32 people to its annual get together -- the third highest
number in group history.

Selected members of the Hoop
Historians visited with astronaut
Lee Archambault in the Space Shuttle simulator at NASA.

For the first time in
tournament history, a # 1 or # 2 seed failed to advance to the Final
Four.
-
# 11 seed VCU tied a mark as
the lowest seed to advance to the Final Four. National runner-up
Butler reached the title game for the second straight year (both losses)
and were seeded # 8 in the Southeast Regional.

The Final Four Shuttle
Transportation System drew high marks from the coaches and fans that
were moved throughout the city.
