DOROTHY & SURL KIM Residence: Los Angeles, California -- Final Fours Attended: (27) 1981, 1983-1989, 1991-2009. The "First Couple" of the Hoop Historians. Operators of Kim Tours and Travel which has been in business for over 50 years and has followed University of Southern California football since 1953. Dorothy is an alumnus of USC and Surl is affectionately known as "Mister Rose Bowl" as he has moved hundreds of thousands of people to and from the "Granddaddy of all bowl games". Surl is a World War II veteran serving as Navigator (LT) B-17 in the 92nd Bomb Group - 8th Air Force in England during 1944-45. The couple remains active in attending major sporting events, besides 27 Final Fours, the Kim's have been to more than 50 Rose Bowls, 37 Super Bowls, a pair of Olympic Games and hundreds of college football games. ED KRAWITZ Residence: Stroudsburg. Pennsylvania -- Final Fours Attended: (35) 1973-1987, 1989-2008. Ed earned his Bachelor of Science from Wharton School of Finance & Commerce – University of Pennsylvania, and a Law Degree from University of Pennsylvania after serving in United States Army during the Korean War. He served as Solicitor for the Borough of East Stroudsburg and as a Special Assistant Attorney General for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was also Past President of Kiwanis Club, Jaycees, and Temple Israel. Ed volunteered on many Boards of charitable and civic organizations, including Board of Trustees for University of Pennsylvania and its Athletic Advisory Board. Among his many awards, Ed earned the “Outstanding Young Man of the Year” by the Jaycees and “Outstanding Student” by McKean Law School Club. DON MACKAY Residence: Hobe Sound, Florida -- Final Fours Attended: (7) 1991, 2001, 2003-2005, 2007-2008. Don is a semi-retired basketball coach, who started coaching youth teams at the age of 17. He has been coaching at the high school and collegiate levels since 1982. Coach Mac is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches for 16 years and a 12 year member of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York. MacKay also coached high school softball for five years and was a varsity golf coach for 14 years. Don saw his first college basketball game, which featured Ohio State stars Jerry Lucas and John Havlicek, as a youngster when he attended the game for 50 cents.

KEVIN
McCANN Residence: Chicago, Illinois -- Final Fours Attended: (15) 1979, 1984, 1987-1989, 1991-1992, 1994, 1996-1999, 2005-2006, 2009. Kevin has been involved in basketball for his entire life. Kevin’s Dad, John, was Sports Information Director at DePaul University during the fifties, sixties and seventies. Kevin started selling programs there at age eight and attended Ray Meyer’s Basketball Camp in the sixties. While in high school, Kevin worked on the Stat Crew at DePaul and learned much about the importance of statistics in basketball. While attending the university as a student basketball manager, McCann became the school’s official timer – a position he has remained in for the last 37 years! Kevin was also a basketball official for many years before becoming principal at Jamieson School in 1991. Kevin has attended 15 Men’s’ Final Fours and took in his first ever Women’s’ Final Four in 2007 with his three daughters. For his accomplishments to the game, McCann was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2007 as a Friend of Basketball.
