DON MACKAY

Don started coaching youth teams at the age of 17 and has been coaching at the high school and collegiate levels since 1982.  This past year MacKay coached at Northwood University in West Palm Beach with the legendary Rollie Massimino.   Coach Mac also coached high school softball for five years and was the varsity golf coach for another 14 years.  Don has been a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the Basketball Coaches Association of New York.  The past five years Don has worked Cardinals and Marlins spring training games at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida, and has worked six U.S. Open Golf Tournaments and numerous PGA and Senior Tour events.  MacKay's passion for basketball goes back to attending his first college basketball game as a youngster, which featured Ohio State stars Jerry Lucas and John Havlicek.  Don attended the game for fifty cents.  Obviously it was money well spent.
