Darren has been around Hoop Historians for most of his lifetime, and attended
his first of four consecutive Final Fours in Minneapolis (1992) at the age of
nine. Darren played basketball at Katella High School in California and and
Saint Thomas More Prep and was a member of the New England Prep School
champions. Sack was selected in the eleventh round of the 2004 Major League
Baseball Draft by the San Francisco Giants and played five seasons of
professional ball in addition to pitching three years at Sonoma State
University. Darren has a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Saint Mary’s College.
