Cal Dilworth has played organized
basketball for sixty-plus years and still laces up the shoes today.
Cal is the the retired director of
Detroit's Master's Sports and Recreation Program, a group he founded at age 50
and managed for twenty years. Dilworth played with every Harlem basketball
team from the Ambassadors to the Wizards from 1957-1966. In the true
spirit of being a Globetrotter, as a master's AAU player, Cal was selected to
play for Team USA in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland and
Slovenia. Dilworth has been inducted into five different Hall of Fames and
is the sponsor to an Endowed Basketball Scholarship at Wayne State University.
Cal has been a 25-year member of the National Association of Basketball
Coaches and has attended every Final Four since 1989.
