Bill Jauss is a legendary Chicago sportswriter for nearly 50 years with the Chicago Daily News, the Chicago Today and the Chicago Tribune. Bill was an original member and moderator of the radio show called "The Sports Writers", which was broadcast on WGN Radio from 1975-1993. The show gathered together various sports writers discussing sports in the days prior to talk radio and all-sports formats. In 1985, a video adaptation of the long-running radio program hit the television circuit and became nationally syndicated across the country and ran for 15 years. Bill was a member of Northwestern University's Rose Bowl championship team in 1949. Jauss was inducted into the United States Basketball Writers Association Hall of Fame in 2003.
